Looking for a bit of advice again please.
I wnat to put black wheels on my ride and I've found some s/h that might do the job but they are for an 8/9 speed cassette whereas my cassette is 7 speed. Will there be issues using the 2 together?
Secondly I'm thinking of going to disc on the front but its all new to me. My forks have caliper mounts but I'm not sure what will fit the mount, any advice please. Pic below of my forks, (sorry its the best pic I can find).

The forks are post mount, so any caliper will fit, provided you use the right adaptor.....most modern forks are post mount, so provided you get a suitable front wheel that uses discs, you will be fine. Make sure you get the right size disc/adaptor combination0

Yes but you will need a 7 spd spacer.
Yor forks are post mount."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Thank you both for the replies.
Is an adapter needed for both cable and hydraulic brakes?
Thanks nathanCheers Nathan.0 -
Depends on the brake. And the rotor size.0
