I'm doing a cycling presentation in school for a speaking assesment and i've decided to do road cycling

I know this is no homework forum but was wondering if any one has or knows of anything that could capture the imagination of sleepy 16 yr olds on a monday morning more than this

Do you ride? If so talk about why. What you get from it. What you dream of. Etc. if you don't, talk about something you do know about instead of hoping readers of this forum will spoon feed you your answers.

Why not talk about the recent achievements of British cyclists - Cav and the British team at the world champs, the Olympic road race? What about how tough and what an endurance sport pro cycling is (which not many non cyclists realise)? There are many different examples of this, the distances covered, the ascents climbed and the fast descents, the crashes in the TDF - Johnny Hoogerland etc.
