Replacing chainring - OE V's aftermarket

I've got a worn outer chainring (50t) on my Ultegra 6650 Compact chainset. Do I go for a like for like for £50, or go for a Stronglight part that is half the price? Will I notice the difference?
The other alternative is to buy the whole chainset new from chainreaction for £110 and sell the old one on eBay... :?:
