Found a bit of a deal on some Sidi mtb shoes and wondered how the fit compares to shimano (which I normally use). Thanks in advance....

SIDI's are renowned for being narrow! you will likely need a size up from your normal size. They do mould after a few wet rides though but within reason!

  • I have no chance of ever being able to fit into a sidi, if I do manage to find one that fits width wise (I have very wide feet), it would end up being 2 sizes too long for me.

I just wish they made some shoes that fit me, because their shoes are so nice!
  • Thanks for the info guys, given my short/wide feet(!) I probably need to give sidi a miss.

I think Northwave are good for wide feet....

Sidi Mega are sized wider (but usually only available in boring black  ). I have a pair and they're pretty similar to Shimano width (but buy a size smaller than you would Shimano)
