What's the "best" option? Shimano sram content.

What would be my best option? Don't let money come into it though.
#1. Sram X7 shifter X9 short cage mech (did the "sticking" issues get sorted with these?). 10 speed, xt cassette+chain.
#2. SLX 9 Speed shifter and medium cage mech (is the spring actually strong in the mech). XT cassette, KMC chain.
#3. XT M780 GS rear mech (is the spring as strong as SLX), XT M770 Shifter or M660 Shifter (same internals, right?). 10 speed XT cassette +chain.
Will be run with single ring, over rough stuff, so good spring tension would be great. Don't really care how the shifter feels, just want the chain to go into gear as quick and with as little fuss as possible.
Would also like a rear mech that doesn't develop main pivot slop in a day.

SLX medium cage mech, XT shifters & XT cassette.
SLX mech seems to work better than XT when things get rough but the XT shifters are excellent.
I tried SRAM X9 rear mech & the spring was too light, it let the chain slap around too muchTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
I don't get hung up on gears, to me they all work well if set up correctly and in good state of wear. If you put me on the spot and asked me what I'd buy for a new build, I'd buy SLX everything and spend the money I saved from buying XTR on some really decent wheels.I had to beat them to death with their own shoes...

I really fancy one of these. Do they keep the chain in check as much as the reviews indicate?0 -
Yeah, does a good job! Has a strong spring too, does seem to shift better than XT.0

Good to see SRAM are upgrading X9 internals to ball bearings. Wonder if it was my WMB review that prompted it lol.0

Running 9 speed, I do like the feel I get with SRAM rocket shifter and XT rear mech, prefer it to the LX shifter I had before, not tried XT though!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
