Hope Pro II convert or new wheel?

Morning all,

I have a set of Stans Flow rims on Hope Pro II. My problem is my new bike uses the 142x12 standard and my rear wheel is 135x10 so is it worth converting the current hub to 142x12 or getting a new 142x12 hub as I guess they take advantage of the wider stiffer setup.

142x12 is just an adaptation of a 135 rear hub, info is on Syntace's site

a 135 hub with the adaptors will be no different to a 142x12 hub, in terms of stiffness they will be the same

Thanks just had a look and its just 3.5mm longer end caps either side.
