Been looking at a Canyon CF Evo & the Cube agree GTC pro near enough the same price bracket - There seems to be a wait or very little in stock anyone with any "For & Against" comments welcome - finally what sort of warranty do both carry ??? cheers.

Canyon seem to have the sort of warranty where you get the frame replaced but then they charge the earth for any essential required parts to work with it if the parts arent compatible over the 6 years they supposedly offer the warranty over.

The above sounds like an extreme issue and probably very rarely happens, but if it was so rare then maybe Canyon should be a bit more customer friendly. I know I wouldnt buy one now.
Whats your budget and intended use? Maybe others could throw a few other options into the hat for you to consider at your price range.0 -

Hi there
Stock issues seem to be a problem with Cube from what I've heard. Not sure about the situation with Canyon.
As another option to consider, what about a Trek Madone 3.5 - gained 5/5 in the recent Cycling Plus review and is in the price range of the Cube and Canyon if you haggle.

I gather they are also in short supply but you may get lucky at your Trek stockist.
What about a 2011 model - Trek Madone 4.5 for around £1500

You'll be far from disappointed with the Canyon.
On par with Cervelo R3Sl and Cannondale Super Six Himod.0 -
I believe Cube have a 2 year warranty on the frame. I had a 2010 GTC Race and now have a 2012 frame on a warranty replacement.
I love my Cube GTC Race - but have changed the seatpost and saddle, wheels will be next.
I'd probably go for the Canyon too, I've not ridden one but I like their look and they aren't so common!_________________________________________________

Trek Madone would be a very good option to look at very seriously yeah. It would be right up there on my shortlist too!!0 -
Reading that Canyon warranty thread has left me with a bad taste in the mouth. They look great bikes but the "what if" thing in my head if the frame was damaged and the hassle/money of getting it sorted. Cube bikes look great and are good value for money also. I would rather now buy from a shop and someone who i could deal with face to face rather than trying to deal over the internet.0

Just ordered my Cube Agree GTC Race today from my local LBS
Test rode the Agree GTC Pro and liked it very much but decided on full Ultegra and aero wheels. Should arrive end of Feb, can't wait...0
