Ordered M520 pedals for my Specialized Sectuer.

Shimano R064 or R077 in my sights. Confusing myself online re sizing. I'm a UK10 but some sites suggest a 45 others 46. Anyone here able to help?

Lastly do both/either shoe work ok with M520's? (need anything to convert them or just bolt on and go?).

Thanks for continued help from all on here, much appreciated.

    i wear a 46 R087 and i'm normally a size 10

46 works out as size 11.2 in the UK system.

and the shoes in that series are all compatible with SPD cleats so just bolt them on and you're good to go.

    I have R086 in a size 46. I'm usually a shoe size 10.5.
    Fit's perfectly.

These are both road shoes and are not really suitable for use with SPD pedals. Better to use MTB shoes or Touring ones designed to work with SPDs. Even with pontoons road shoes are sods to walk in and do not give as much support on the pedal.

That's a fair point. Have a look at the Shimano RT series of shoes if you want a road 'type' shoe. They've got a road upper and a sole which is suited to the double sided M520s.
