OT. Avatars in hiding

When I'm on my work pc I can't see my avatar. When I'm at home I can, at least I could if the funkin' broadband worked. The same thing happens with NSB and GregT's avatars.
Does anyone else get this? Most of the others seem ok. Is there some setting I need to change? Is the system telling me I need a better avatar?

Could be the source is blocked i.e. tiny pic and the likes.

You think I'd be on this site so much if my internet usage was controlled or monitored?

Mine works anywhere (at least for me), but I can't see Veronese or NSB's at the moment

edit... seems to be a problem with BR

    my avatar is linked as
    http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/download/file.php?avatar=526898.jpg

and work's in a raw page, but NSB's is
    http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/download/file.php?avatar=503976_1320743715.jpg

if I remove the '_1320743715' then NSB's works fine...

oddly, mine is the other way round. fine at work shows "User Avatar" when at home.

Even odder, work blocks all photohosting sites except for Flickr, so it makes the girls in...... threads a bit dull

Same here - certain avatars don't show, others do, always the same ones. Using Safari on a Mac. No blocking of any kind going on here.

I think it changed with the forum upgrade. My work pc was upgraded so I went from ie6 to ie8 but that didn't fix it. At home I use Firefox.
I can see OB's avatar, he's easy.My work doesn't really block very much at all. Remarkably it's my conscience that does the blocking. Well, that and knowing there are people walking past just behind me.

I stuck a different one on as I don't have the original image here. I'll get a better one soon.
