On my list of sh*t that I really don't need, but cannot justify the expense:

lego Unimog: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/mot ... o-car.html

1" Straight blade carbon road fork - my steel fork is fine

Aerospoke front wheel - my front wheel is fine

Touchscreen in car entertainment system - we have Comand fitted in the car already with a blu-ray player, but it is not touchscreen.....

Whats on your list of useless sh1te that you either cannot justify the expense or really don't need......?

A new cycling helmet - nothing wrong with mine, just want a different colour.

Garmin Edge - unfortunately all my money is going into an inherited house that needs refurbing, so a new shower takes priority over the Garmin. If you've ever seen a film called The Money Pit, welcome to my life.

I've been searching for an excuse (nay, a reason) to buy a Unimog.

I might just buy that Lego thing. I'm a grown man ffs.

All of the above, except a shed. Got a garage.
Nicklouses flat bar hub gear jobby in Ti though. I used to have a Unimog, toy one that is. Even as a toy it seemed to have an infinite amount of suspension travel. I'd still have it if my Mum hadn't thrown out all my old toy cars.

Only if over 7.5 tonnes. I believe that most early unimogs are around the 4 tonne mark, however, the later varients go up to 10 tonnes.

On my current budget, the lego one will suffice......for now.

A nice house with a garden, don't really want for anything else, a flash bike might be night but it's not going to make me quicker so why bother, it's sweeter going past people on bikes 4 or 5 times what mine cost me

Oh dear... I've now looked on the Lego website and seen so many things to blow money on. After I've converted the spare room to a man-cave, of course...

If you've had your licence before a certain date, no retraining needed.

For a Unimog you want a Black Edition Brabus.

I think that was in Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands last year. My son had a driving lesson over there. Fanciest car showroom I've ever seen.
I prefer the old Unimogs like in Welks piccy.
