TransAllgarve - 5th to 9th May 2013 - Algarve, Portugal

Since 2008, Trilhos Vivos has been organizing endurance mtb races in Portugal, such as SRP160 (100 miles), eoX240 (150 miles) and Sudoex (2day race), mostly for Portuguese and Spanish riders.

All these time we had a plan for setting up a multi day stage race, and we've finally gathered the conditions we needed to make the TransAllgarve come true.

5 days trough the "Europe's most famous secret", from east to west, covering about 280 miles and over 30 000 ft of climbing, to discover the best of southern Portugal, Algarve.
From the eastern Mediterranean forests, to the west desert beaches, cliff-tops with great singletrack trails and awesome views of the ocean.

Great weather, great food, cheap flights to Faro Airport, the perfect getaway in May :wink:

How? Solo, on your bicycle 8) guided by a garmin gps
