Sure there was a sticky somewhere about what to do if hit by car?

If I'm not imagining it anyone know the link?

    First thing to do, if possible, is pick yourself up and move to the side of the road.

    Typical case of driver being all nice and then suddenly claiming my fault.

    Your left weizel clip and trailing ball cup are slightly bent now arent they? Should be fixable at your LBS, expensive parts mind.

    Yeah I'm cool, could have gone much worse considering the speeds just got very lucky how and where I landed and that I got my feet out in time to take the hit.

    Guy just suddenly pulled from a stationary lane of traffic on my right into the bus/cycle only lane. Got pictures of his car in that lane etc etc, probably got caught by the cameras on the buses backed up behind him and bus lane cameras too. They love a good £100 fine.

    I've sent him the bill and reported to police will see what he says, hopefully won't have to use my home insurance and the claim is pretty hefty, was riding my Colnago.

    Sorry to hear that but at least you got away with all of your bones intact. Make sure you hold out for everything - after all, it was your Colnago that got hit for Fux sake :cry:
