Hi guys,
Whyte 901 arrived today. Lovely bike, but two things...
1 - Front brake feels spongy at leaver, also creaks abit, maybe not bled properly?
2 - Rear rotor rubs, any ideas how to fix?
Cheers guys

Does it have avid brakes?
Rubbing rear. Undo the bolts that point upwards a little, align the caliper better, and tighten back up.A Flock of Birds

Have you ridden it yet?
Have you bedded the brakes in yet?
Do the above."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

But do go and play on it before the weekends ride as you may need to make an adjustment or two.
Don't forget that the gers may need a tweak mid ride as well."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Its a grating noise, so the rotor is touching the pads, so I shouldn't adjust, just ride for a bit?0

Yes, disc brake pads need bedding in to remove high spots and to get good consistent braking.

I disagree, align it now anyway. Waiting is pointless. You might need to do it twice, but then you might not.A Flock of Birds
