If I replace the top caps and membranes on the juicy three reservoirs do the brakes then need to be bled

    most likey. it depends if you trap any air in there or not.

    May just be easier and get better results by just binning them and buying better brakes (not Juicy. Other Avids are okay though).

    They do work. Just they're famously squidgy and they don't self adjust properly like other models, and the pad spring clip design is awful, keeps catching on discs.

    I just found them a right pain. Have to admit I've only tried Juicy 3, not the other Juicys. Moved to X0 and they're fine.

    Anyway, if repairing them, it still may be less hassle to even just buy more of the same. I found even bleeding Juicys they are never the same as they were originally.

    Sound OK to me! My Juicy's are plenty sharp enough, they do lack a bit of progression though (comparing to the XT's on mt mates GT) and are a little 'on/off'.
