Hi

I am after a jacket for weekend/training rides that is cut to fit nice and snug. My commuting high viz is way too big and baggy for long, hard rides plus I end up like a boil in the bag lobster! I have seen some of the pro's wearing 'winter gear' and they seem to have tight fitting jersey type things. Can anyone point me in the right direction here ? Im not after spending mega money and im not too worried about waterproofing.

Cheers,

Welkman

Search for soft shell jackets. Gore Phantom ii gets talked about a lot but didn't suit my body shape. I wear a BBB Control Shield. But it's a soft shell you should be looking for.

    +1

I use an Assos 851 Airjack - exactly as you describe - but pricey (there's been some big discounts though)

Any idea if there is a DHB one ? I have their roubaix tights and they are great. Im trying to stay under 80 quid as the wife is getting a bit annoyed about my 'habbit'. I say it could be worse, I could spend my money on make up for men or crack.
