Powertap SL (wired) HR strap not working

Last year I got a 2nd hand Powertap SL (wired). I can't seem to get the HR strap to be recognised with the computer.

I know it works, as I put the strap on and it was recognised by my Tacx head unit.

Any ideas help on what I could do to get it to work? Thanks

Doesn't it need pairing with the CPU?

Nap is the HR strap or the computer? I put a replacement battery in the strap but not the computer. Will give that a try.

@Redrego if you'd care to enlighten me how to do it, as I didn't see it in the manual (he says as he goes home from work to go find said manual and make sure he's not a complete eedjit)

You may need to re-pair it with the head unit if you have changed the battery.

Hmm - my manual at home looks like this one: http://www.saris.com/pdfManuals/308.pdf

I can't find anything in it or scrolling through on how to Learn devices

(I'm working at home so its easy to check...)
