Interesting self-lockable bike design

Have a look, I think that design is quite clever (the handlebars thing), but it is definitely the first time when I saw a full-sus with road'ish tyres and that handlebars... :D

    So what are the bar locks made from?
    Why only one combo lock why not two?
    The rear thing needs to work as a crud catcher as well.

    It's a concept. Give the poor chap a break - he's only trying to provide a solution to a problem. If the handlebars weigh less than the combination of traditional handlebars and a D lock, he might have something that a lot of people could use. The details are irrelevant.

    The rear lock is a distraction - really like a variant on a Dutch lock and not I think anything new.

    I can see hipster fakengers buying those bars and riding them sans lock :-D
    FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
    CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
