Hi Guys,
The rear wheel of my Kona Dew 2009 needs to be realigned for the 3rd time in about 5 months.
No doubt due to the amount of weight it supports.
Im thinking of replacing the rear wheel, can anyone suggest a stronger rear wheel?
Would I have to replace the gears \ hub as well?
Any info \ advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi, This is what I got recommended and have to say the wheel is pretty solid but not really used it or fitted it  as supplier was out of stock till December and I was too busy partying to get up early in that month
Anyway great wheel and I changed the cassette and chain too.

I bought a Shimano wheelset for my mtb about four years ago. Cost about £100 and they've been great.
The hub will come with the wheel. How many miles have the existing cassette and chain done? If they're in good nick, you may be able to get away with using them this winter and then replacing.
You won't need to change gears, but, if you buy a cassette, make sure it's compatible with your existing gears e.g. Shimano.FCN 2-4.

Thanks for the suggestion guys.
Evans cycles has suggested a "Mavic 2012 A719 Rim" with a "Shimano M590 Deore Rear Hub", hand built for just over £110.
What y'all think?
Thanks0
