Hi,
Budget cleaned out (buying a bike at Xmas is an expensive thing!) but desperate to get warmer out there...
dhb Core S - any cop in this weather without wind jacket over the top?
Mindful I keep warm as well as stop looking like I'm riding a stolen bike in inappropriate gear.
Thanks for the patience and help in here, much appreciated. Choosing the bike was the easy bit!

Hmmm...I was out in mine with a Lusso baselayer and bibtights on Sunday, and it was fine
Bit cold, especially on the arms when I set off, but fine once I started to warm up. I have found they aren't very windproof though, so if it's very cold or a bit windy I always put a lightweight jacket on (Altura), and have been fine with this combo so far this winter, and max ride so far was an 83 miler :!:
Great jersey though for the money 8)Share The Road Event http://www.sharetheroadride.co.uk

I received one through the post sat, however after using Wiggle's online sizing guide the top was about two sizes too small.
I also had some DHB knee warmers which were very good quality, however i think the top look and belt like a budget item item, i'm going to see if i can pick up something for a similar price in the sales.0 -

Was fearing boil in the bag and not certain what'll work best given I have just base layers at the minute (cool max and dri fit running stuff).0
