CS7 Falling Apart Already.

I wish I could be more positive about cycling infrastructure, but last night's ride gave little to be happy with. Aside from the already well-documented problems with CS7, I noticed that for large sections of the westbound route across Clapham Common the blue surface is delaminating from the underlying tarmac. This after barely two years of use.
I look forward to the joy of the whole thing being coned off for re-surfcaing every two years.

Arf.
Seems ok in other areas, so maybe it was just a duff patch although the idea of a big chunk coming away beneath me if I have o stop suddenly is not appealing. Hope CS8 is a bit more long lasting.1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

There's a section between the college and C' South station where there's a nice patchwork of badly filled holes. Very reassuring on the commute home .0
