Replacing shock pump gauge.

Hi all,
I have a high pressure shock pump and a low pressure Marzocchi fork, the cost of the low pressure pumps is in my opion high, can I just buy a 40mm low pressure gauge and swap it for the high pressure one?
I was going to purchase from TC Direct, I take it a 40mm 100psi bottom entry/thread would do the job? Looking at my pump it looks like the thread is on the bottom of the gauge.
I ride a HT, so have no need for a HP pump.
Thanks in advance.

as long as the thread is the same etc..."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Looking at it, 1/8th thread fitting seems to be the most common for 40mm gauges.0
