Thought this might give you a laugh ...

Having decided on Sat that -4OC was just too icy to risk a ride I decided to set up on the deck in the garden to clean up drive chain and fettle an irritating noise from certain cogs. Massive insight - if you spray on citrus degreaser and rinse off - on a day like that - you spend the rest of the time picking orange ice crystals out of deraileur jockey wheels etc etc!

Still I reckon the ice pulled out some bits of dirt that may not have come otherwise but what an ejit!!

Perhaps they mistook BikeRader (or the site it was posted on) for Twatter or FarkBook?

Or perhaps you mistook Twatter or FarkBook for BikeRader? :?

Wouldn't some warm water have sorted it out?
  • Tried that - refroze too quick and still left me with ice on my delicate parts!
