To all those who have invested in cocaine scales, Ti bolts, unpadded saddles, CF frame, bars, seatpost, undersized disc rotors, tubeless rims & tyres and demand manufacturers supply the weight of every component you choose to fit in order to have the lightest possible bike...

..I bring you the ultimate project...

Any ideas on how to lighten this one up quickly?

3 or 4 links could go from that saggy chain.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
  • I'd probably take those bricks off it too, you know, so I could sit on it.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Head angle's a bit slack and that string on the handlebars could be removed to save a few gramms.

Just needs to watch his diet. Those bricks are probably the same weight difference between a fat f***er and a skinny tw@t.

Swap the bricks for the ones with holes through them, should save a few pounds.

Lighter tubes will have the most effect- rotating weight innit.

  • If he really wants to get light quick, he could change all his bolts for titanium or alloy ones! Saw it on a thread in here, ennit.
