Guisborough Woods and the moors...

Far too icy for the planned road ride this morning so decided to get the new Genesis CX bike out and head for a run round Gibber Woods and the surrounding moors, a route I usually do on the MTB but wanted to see how the CX would cope with that terrain.
Full ride report here, with lots of very cold pictures, make sure you're wrapped up warm.

Good little write up, thanks - I plan to do a bit more than just the marked MTB trails next time I'm up. BW what does 'P.V.C.' stand for?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

P.V.C. stands for Pinchinthorpe Visitor Centre, which is situated on the Western fringe of the woods just outside Guisborough.
If you come up, post something up and there may be riders willing to join you.0 -
Ta - think I know where you mean, it's that place at the start of the marked Guisbro' Forest MTB trails where there a cafe in a long-ish wooden building next to an empty railway carriage IIRC?
Will post up next time I am headed to the NE - my folks live in Redcar and I visit from time to time. Could do with someone to show me the decent routes :-)"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
