I have come across these and know of lads using them, of which have said that they get less hassle off of other road users since wearing them so thought to pass the message around, cheap too.

I think you'll find thats the whole idea, so you get less shit from motorists thinking your someone other then a chap out for a pleasant ride. lol

I thought this was a good idea for commuting.

But I can't bring myself to spend £49 on it.

It works so well for PCSOs.

Anyone who wears this stuff is a tit and likely has trouble crossing the road whilst on foot ... Quite frankly, if you need to go out dressed like that you need to stay indoors and never go outside ever again ...

As a father, who want to be there for his son, I already ensure I am visible to other road users.
It is a shame many cyclists prefer to wear black, have no lights and RLJ.
This company's cycling gear may not be appropriate for all but to call all wearers 'tits' is bewildering.

Yes, but when the knobhead in the white van realises you're not a copper he'll likely feel tricked and try to run you off the road anyway. Ditto for the keep right sign on the backpack; the morons you're worried about aren't usually conspicuous observers of traffic signs, speed limits or the highway code are they?

See plenty riding head to foot in black! are they on some kind of mourning ride? do they think they look cool?slimmer? or is that they are just complete pillocks?

Horse riders need a jacket that says "F**k off everybody, we're using the road today". After having crashed as a result of a family of horse riders and their free running Jack Russell I am very bitter.

Why don't we all dress up as cowboys and indians as well ... nothing says i am a safe and responsible road user than fancy dress ...

Hopefully one of the clowns wearing this garb will be picked up by the police for impersonating a police officer ... all it needs is one to having bad day ...

dont you think that saddle blanket is a bit excessive - how will that fit on a Selle SLR?.. and there are no weights. what kind of cycle wear is it that doesnt have weights!

If people think that looking like a police officer will cut down on abuse and improve other people's road sense towards them then they are sorely mistaken.

That's a good idea. I might dress as Shrek on my next ride.

Some cyclists who may be less experienced than yourself and don't have your overwhelming confidence and road presence may feel that little bit safer wearing reflective gear. Even if, in your words, that makes them a tit.

The snobbery from some on here is truly outstanding.

  • So it seems the opinion of anyone wearing one of these will look a complete constable.

That certainly fits 'the bill' !!
I am quite happy with what I wear without the need to add extra layers that will either limit your movements or make you hot.
