Morzine-check, where next?

Ticked off Morzine / Les Gets last year and loved the lift accessed routes. However, our 6" AM rigs weren't coping with the speeds we wanted to put in over the bloody braking bumps. Seems to be a victim of it's own success. We might still go back as we didn't really touch the XC routes and portes du soleil, but where else offers miles and miles of sweet lift accessed DH and AM singletrack?
Condition is; we have to be able to drive there in not much more than 12 hours. So no mention of Whistler please.
Where's the next biking roadtrip to be?

Only takes a couple of hours to drive to Whistler.
Just you need to get on a flight to Vancouver0 -

I've not looked into them, but keep getting nods towards bike parks in Germany, some of which I think have lift access. Don't know how big they are in terms of long sweet descents, but they do have mountains there. Shouldn't be too long a drive.
Other than that, there must be loads of stuff in the Alps. Just again, I've not really looked into what's what down there. Morzine area is on my list though. Alpe d'Huez perhaps. Megavalanche territory.0 -
Yeah, we did Morzine / Les Gets and another area that doesn't come to mind right away. The sheer variety makes it a no brainer really. Champery and others I think can be gotten to by using the lifts.0
