Suntour Epicon Air

Just bought a Boardman Comp MTB and it comes with Suntour Epicon LOD Air forks. The forks are a bit stiff and the manual says that you can adjust the pressure down to match my weight better.

However, the Air Valve is supposedly on the top left of the fork but this is covered with a metal cap that requires some special tool to remove. Doesn't look very user friendly compared to what the manual says.

Is this fork adjustable at all? (Apart from the rebound that is).

Thanks for any help from you experts out there :)

PS: The Forks seem to be EPICON LOD / LOD QLC15 by my reckoning.

Your not talking about this cap....?

It requires no tool to remove. Just rotate with your fingers......

I have the same bike and as post above says you just use your fingers to unscrew the cap on top of left leg.....put some muscle into it

Oh, I see. I thought it looked like it needed a tool! Doh! From experience I don't want to force something as I have broken stuff in th past. Thanks. :-)

Not bad. Best of the entry level air forks IMO. I just wish i could dismantle mine so i could adjust it to 120mm.

I've only had a few runs out with the new bike but really impressed so far. Seems v well controlled and as good as anything else I've tried at this price point. Definitely worth a look I'd say.
