Differing feet position on pedals

Only got flats, but noticed my right foot naturally tends to sit slightly to the outside of the pedal (very slight overhang), while the left one plants perfect. I can shift it over no problem and doesn't hurt or feel unusual, just the way it naturally sits. But feel i need to check it every so often so that any jumps i am getting a good base.
Anybody else have this and will it rectify after time (haven't been riding long).?

At the start I was always looking to see if my feet were square on the pedals, you either get used to it or don't notice it after a while, but I still check before I do jumps etc.0

I find my left hangs out a bit, only notice it when I stand up and generally try and shift it a bit but doesn't worry me - it never slips and sometimes easier to leave it than lift my foot.I don't do smileys.

My right moves around more than my left, but I can feel it if it's off and adjust accordingly, I don't need to look.0

Change to SPDs. Your feet are always in the right place then.“Life has been unfaithful

Based on SPD v flat use, its clear there are a smaller number of above average intelligence as overall I see less cyclists using SPD's than the multitude of others still using vintage flats.

I would have thought SPD's could be quite dangerous when used off road?0

Back on topic, my left foot also hangs slightly off the pedal but it feels more comfortable there.2019 Ribble CGR SL

Cool, not the lone John Wayne i thought i was. Not a problem as still feel i have sufficient footing, so will just carry on, probably get used to learning to feel its in the right place prior to any jumps.0

It all comes down to whether you dress to the left or the right.0

just ride whats a comfortable position for you. i ride flats too and sometimes your foot can slip into a different position but so long as your foots on the pedal it should be fine :-)0
