hi i have been offered a 2008 felt f100 road/race bike for £500 but i do not have much knowledge of road bikes at all and am wondering if this would be a good price to pay for this bike? i have seen it and ridden it and is in great condition ect. would just like some advice my initial thoughts were that its really cheap for a bike that good but i dont want to buy it and find out i paid over the odds, can anyone help please?

    I will admit to knowing nothing about Felts bike but a quick search indicates this was their entry level bike, if so then 500 quid sounds a lot, I think there may be one for sale on this forum for less than 300. Its possible the spec on the bike you have seen may justify the price but if you want to spend around 500 quid on a bike you'd possibly be better off spending it on a new entry level Trek, Spesh etc or try and get a good deal in the current sales on a higher spec bike.
