I would like to upgrade the forks on my bike and i`m lost as to what will fit/best bang for buck.
I cant see myself being able to afford a full susser anytime soon (do i even need one?) so i`m looking to upgrade the bike i have.
Bike = Genesis core 10 2009
Current fork = SunTour Raidon LO-D, 100 mm with rebound adjust
Use = mostly xc/local woods. Hardest ride would be red route at glentress or maybe even the west highland way
Budget = i would like to keep this at a v.max £350
All suggestions welcome hopfeully grab a bargain in the january sales

First off, how are you getting on with the Raidon?
Also what axle type ie quick release, 15mm etc.0 -
Need and want are different things.
Reba's would be what I'd look at.0 -
SS, for most of my riding the raidon is fine as its mostly county park/moorland. But but would like something better for glentress. Its a quick release wheel I have.
1980, thanks for the suggestion
ETA. Forgot to add to the op that I'm a heavier rider, 17.9 stone if that changes opinions.0 -
Try one of these:

120mm of travel will give you bit more leeway (and is fine for this frame), and 70 quid in your sky rocket. Great fork.0
