I'm looking at getting one of these for commuting and training on the cycle 2 work scheme through Halfrauds, anyone got one yet and if so whats the verdict?
Oh and its the alu one not the steel one.
Thanks

Hi mate,
Not the ideal commute bike as spesh have taken the 2012 Langster back to track basics so high BB, no brake mounts at all and the flip flop hub is fixed only so if you like that fine, otherwise not an ideal to and from work bike though lovely to look at never the less. The 2011 Langster is still available and has all of the aforementioned details including brake, flip flop hub, and slightly more road based geometry.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks Pete, the geo doesnt really bother me as it will also on occasion be used for track duties when I get my arse over the bridge to Newport Velodrome. Looking at the spec on the Spesh website it comes with front and rear brakes albeit shit ones from tektro (which will be changed at some point) and I only want to ride it as fixed so not altogther bothered about lack of ability to freewheel (its cheating anyway )
I have £500.00 to spend via the Halfrauds voucher so any other recommendations are welcome as well.Obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated!0
