9speed bike 10 speed chainring - will it work?

My non drive side crank arm recently became loose and close inspection reveals the interlocking splines are all worn. Re-tightening the bolt wont work as I've tried it. New crank arm needed. I've found a Truvativ Elita (same brand) crank set and rings on chain Reaction for £45.00 which seems a bargain however it says its for 10 speed and my roadbike is a 9 speed? Does it matter? What do I need to check size wise for it to fit?

It works fine, I have a SRAM Apex 10 speed chainset and tiagra 9 speed mech
