A couple of us are heading out on Saturday for a ride? Anyone else around? If so do come along and join RPCC as you'd be very welcome.
Here's what to expect:
- Meet 8 am at Richmond Gate by the white building on the left if you're leaving the park
- 60 miles / 100 km into Surrey Hills
- 16-18 mph average - 20+ mph on the flat
- We'll wait at the top of hills to regroup
- There'll be a cafe stop - probably at the top of Box Hill
Oh, and it's going to be cold, so bring your thermals
Post below if you're interested in coming along.

Unfortunately unable to join on the saturday...
However do plan to go out on the sunday? Anyone keen on the Windsor loop?0 -
I'll be doing the Saturday ride but cannot make it on Sunday. Jorge - hope to see you out for a ride soon.0
-
Ah, sorry about that Jorge - looks like Saturday's the favourite at the moment. Berns is potentially up for it as well.
Anyone else?0 -
Shame for me...
But I will definitively join in on the near future.0 -
I am planning on making my RPCC debut!0

Nice one Dan - always good to see new faces. Do you want to PM your mobile number?
Cheers

Excellent. Look forward to seeing you there. Hopefully you're not too quick and I've got someone to ride with on the hills0

I am dreadfully out of shape - I am hoping to kick start my year with this run.
Hope I can keep up!0 -
Great ride at the weekend chaps, and good to meet you Dan. Really enjoyed the spin, at least I did after my fingers and toes had been given a chance to defrost. My iPhone ran out of juice around Epsom, but I make it around 57 miles (that's just over 90k, for the continentals), with climbs of Effingham Road, Leith (the easy way), Ranmore and Box.0

Thanks for a great ride boys. Strava tells me it was a 92km (Richmond Park start/finish). Wonderful morning of riding, hears hoping I can do a proper turn on the front in the future.
Thanks again

Hope to see you in May. A couple of us are doing the Chiltern 100 so we should be really stringing the hills together by then.0

Started doing hill repeats the other day. Let's see how long that lasts...0 -
