Morning Losers!
Half way there, and I cannot wait. I need a lie-in damnit! Every night I keep going to bed around 1 because of Hot Librarian, who I'm going out for more drinks with on Thursday, though Hot Librarian isn't so hot now as she's put Dreads in, and I'm not fan... :?
Anywho, I feel like a zombie, so tea is being consumed.

Morning Tards,
Last night i ended up working late, this peed the wife off as we were meant to be going out for dinner as we didnt have the kids, we eventually got to go to ZiZi's which usually isnt worth the money, but with a cheeky voucher it made it very worth while, good food, good looking waitress and they were selling their expensive wines off for a £10 a bottle. After we popped into the pub, felt out of place and old, went home and promptly fell asleep
Got an email from the nice frame people asking what 17.5" frame i would like, the 17.5" or the 19" but at least they have acknowleged payment etc now
Lots of driving to do today but thats about it..
Play nice Ya'll0 -

Mornin' Hamsterstuffers
A fine day of work m'eh ahead. However this includes bringing an old system back to life so should provide an oppotunity to do my finest Dr Frankenstien impersonation ('It's aliiiiiiiiive!'). However am on for a late finish (boo, hiss).
But then out for the evening with friends and food (yay)
Due to late finish I didn't ride in and I feel dead lazy as a result. Best go and do some work to make for it, then!
Onwards! Via the coffee machine! How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

Edit, i forgot i'm after a city cruiser for my mile and half commute, that way I dont have to leave anything expensive lying around, but which of these gay bikes is better? well not better cos they are both cack, looks better I should say? I just want something I can potter down to work on, keep the mud off me, not have to bother getting changed and not cost me above 150 notes

the bottom one, as although the top one has gears it will make you look like a raging homo.
Morning chumps.
Out and about all day today visiting fire stations, which will mainly involve lots of driving and eating of haribo.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Top one is way too much of a granny style, at least the bottom one is more grandpa (male version) style.0

Gaz, your best bet would be to just buy an old MTB and stick some slicks on it. Something like a hardrock, lower end boardman or GT Avalanche could easily be had for that moneys in tidy 2nd hand condition. Or you could go over to retrobike and grab something off there. I got my old Orange clockwork off there for under £150 and that was ideal for commuting on.
Morning Homos.
Woke up in hospital feeling slightly more refreshed. They've just removed my drip and the phsyio is on her way up. Flight is at 4, hoping to be out of here by 2.

You do realise that the best tommy tank you can have is one after an operation when you're put under. Especially if delivered by your significant other*.

Gaz, maybe if you looked like 'Emily Howard the crap transvestite' then one of those bikes might suit you. In any event you'd probably get beaten up for riding one, though at least nobody would nick your bike :-)
Off to the dentist this morning then the car goes in for it's MOT after lunch so hopefully no expensive 'problems' with either of these! Day out at Bedgebury tomorrow to look forward to though."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Morning bumders
Quite a heavy night last night. No hangover, yet... Win/10. Unfortunately the fuckwits doing the roadworks outside my window started at 8 so I've had very little sleep. This will result in me being grumpy later on but meh, at least I don't feel like death.

Greetings mortals,
Another day in the home office being bugged by a crazy cat and distracted from being productive by this Forum, Facebook and on line p0rn0Cat With No Tail wrote:Gaz, your best bet would be to just buy an old MTB and stick some slicks on it
That cost me under £200 to build, based on a bike I bought through Gumtree for £800 -
FARK ME!
They just had me out of bed for the first time since 9am yesterday to try walking. It's absolute farking agony. I now have no idea how I'm going to manage the airport in 3hrs time. Luckily I've got "special assistance" booked (don't touch my ears), but I still have a feeling it's going to be a PITA.0 -
Back after 3 weeks in South America, rode into work yesterday, then went out with bike club last night, got covered in shit and struggled home, cant believe how much fitness i've lost...
Crawled into bed, woke up this morning still bloody knackered and I appear to have picked up some kind of Peruvian stomach lurgy as am constantly on the pan pebble dashing.
Other than that, life is good.0 -
Well, I've got to work to find that the 'rebuild' me and a colleague attempted (through his method, not my much simple method of just upgrading!) has completely and utterly fecked up. I'm now trying to get 2 mac servers up and running, using the same DNS name and the same IP address
Don't listen to people that have 'good ideas' and say 'This is incase anything goes wrong' :mad:It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

I did think about a building up an old one, but couldn't be bothered, gives me more time to flog my ht and build a new project bike instead.0

I went on the High Speed Train from Chungli to Kaoshun and did not crash very much! Annoyed some people and then came back and the train hardly crashed at all. Checked in on-line for tomorrows adventure in ECONOMY CLASS and amazingly got the bog seat and with sequence number 21 out of about 500pax - no possibility to change.
Mr Gazlar - I suggest that you do not consider going by bike to work - you should go by train!!
Is that not a great idea?0 -
Gazlar wrote:I did think about pumping up an old one, but couldn't be bothered, gives me more time to flog my dick and build a new spunk bucket instead.
I think you need to be sectioned.0 -
I'd live go to work by train but some of us have to be there in time top take the retarded public around.0

I made it from ym house in Cambridge, to Stansted Airport, onto a plane, unboarded in Salzburg, Austria, got into the center of town by bus, got on the train, got off the train and hobbled 1km from the train station to my house, then up the stairs, all with 1 crutch and 40kg of luggage, on a broken knee. You'll be fine with "special" assitance.0
