My 11 year old is getting a bit big for his Trek MT 220 so I have been keeping my eye out for a decent bike for him to start 'proper' mountain biking on. Last week I came across a deal on Wiggle: The GT Avalanche 3.0 Disc Hydro in Small for £250. With the 10-OFF discount code that brought it down to £225 and buying through Quidco effectively gets another £4.50 off. So for £220.50 we got this:

For the money it is a cracking bike and ideal for upgrading as he gets older and better at riding. :)
