Hi all, im training to ride the end to end in the summer. Im riding 50 mile max rides at the moment but am
increasing by 5/10 miles per week. My routes start at crystal palace where i normally head out to westerham via biggin hill and pilgrims way. Have also done the 'falling leaves' ride in the past which is a good 70 mile route, but am looking to increase these rides and explore some new and longer ones. Possibly surrey hills or down to the south coast. Would prefer routes that start and end in south east london. Any suggetions welcomed.
cheers

Hi Chris
Here are a couple of longer rides you might enjoy:
Weald is based on the Sydenham Wheelers' reliability trial and is a 93 mile circuit from Crystal Palace.

I ride with Dulwich Paragon and we have a regular ride that heads out from Crystal Palace each Saturday at 8.30 and tends to cover at least 60 miles at a steady pace (averages 15-16mph). The routes vary each week and you're more than welcome to join us.
All the best

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the maps. i will give them a go. The weald one sounds a good one.
Ive been out with the paragon before, but I dont tend to go very often as i can't always make it. but might bump into you as some point. happy riding.

Could always try cycling to the south coast and back, ie Brighton. Go down there along one route and come back along a slightly different one?0

I did the Wiggle Ups & Downs Epic route (101 miles) last year which was good - here's the page for this year:

This was roughly the route taken on last years ride:
