While checking info on M&S insurance to see if it would help Il Principe in his search, I found this:

"Pedal cycles Up to £1000 per cycle unless specified on your Policy"
Note that this is in the Premium section.

WTF? It used to be up to 4K and that was without even listing the bikes.

My renewal will be up soon. Time to shop around
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

That sucks. I just got paid out on a claim of over a grand through M&S, and they were superb. Didn't need receipts or even a crime refernce number.
    Bike/Train commuter: Brompton S2L - "Machete"
12mile each way commuter: '11 Boardman CX with guards and rack
For fun: '11 Wilier La Triestina

When renewing, the change is not mentioned at all. Does that mean I'm still covered as before?

That quote was off their website today. I would assume that would apply to renewals.
That said, I don't know how things will be affected by listing the bikes per their requirememnts.

That quote was off their website today. I would assume that would apply to renewals. Current terms & conditions and all. Always read the small print.
