Ortlieb Saddle Bags

Hey there,
My girlfriend is relatively new to cycling, and since we have moved house has started commuting by bike. In the Summer, my (BIG) Ortlieb saddle bag is ideal as it is big enough to fit lunch in as well as all the other essentials. However, in winter, the the light is pushed down by the bag and is facing the floor (just not enough room on the seat tube). She doesn't see a problem with this (she has a light on her helmet, and the light does light up the road that it's pointing at) however, I'd like it to be in drivers faces.
I'd like to stick to the Ortlieb ones as it means we can easily swap between bags and I love the quality of Ortlieb stuff, but the smaller bags seem to be just as tall as the big one i've already got.
Anyone have any experience of the bag? And with a light on the seat post?

You could use an extension of some kind to fit on the seatpost and then fit the light to that. Something like a T Grip adapter
These can be a cow to set up, but you might find something easier:

That's actually something I hadn't thought of. I'll see if I can find something suitable, thanks for the idea.http://www.KOWONO.com - Design-Led home furniture and accessories.0 -
I've got the same Ortlieb large bag. Fortunately my seat is high enough but my light can be obscured at times so I've just added lights to the seat stays for peace of mind.0
