Hybrid for £500

Hi all,

Am going to be buying a hybrid on the cycle to work scheme over the next few weeks, any suggestions for a good un around the £500 mark

    Best off asking in the commuting forum really......although they'll tell you to get a road bike!

    What retailers are you tied to through your companys C2W scheme, if you can use Halfords then the Subway is a great MTB style Hybrid while the Gryphon is a good 'more road bike' style Hybrid - what do you want to use it for?

    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Ive just bought a 2011 cube SL cross from hargroves online - very happy with it. Limited size availability, but the 53 suits me fine and Im 5' 10" (but it wouldn't go any bigger than that).
