Upgrading components - where to start?

I currently ride a 2010 Specialized Allez (spec on the link below).

I don't need a new bike just yet (or can afford one), so I'm thinking about upgrading some of the components.
Where's best to start... Wheels & Tyres or parts of the groupset? And what to upgrade to?
Or am I best off saving and getting a new bike in a year or so time?
Your advice please, many thanks in advance.

You haven't said how much you have to spend.
Wheels first, (if you can afford a set that will actually make a difference) and/or tyres. Replace mechanical parts as they break, or wear out.0 -
I've got about £200 - would new wheels improve the performance in this price range?0

You could get a pair of Planet X Model Bs and a good set of tyres to accompany them. Would be an impreovement over the standard Allez set. Also consider the contact points, if not comfortable for you at the moment, and fit.0
