After a year messing about on a mtb with the kids with a fair bit of weight lost.
I've been loaned a bike and today completed a 33 miler with my new bike buddy (cheers David thanks for your patience) in 2 hrs 25. feeling pleased as punch and i know its going to hurt tomorrow.
I LOVE CYCLING!!

    Well done that man!

Now you're one of us, you too can mock those fat MTBers ;-)
  • I am sure I noticed wistful looks from a few riders as you went past. Good effort, 33 miles will be what you do for fun before you know it!
Some people are like slinkies - not much use for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Nice work fella! Shouldn't hurt too much tomorrow, remember to stretch your calves and thighs a few times this evening and that'll assist the recovery. Now all you need to do is buy yourself a road bike and work up to the magic 50miler!
