A hard decision

I am looking at getting a new bike this year and have narrowed the choice to three, a DeRosa R838 Veloce, a Bianchi Sempre with Shimano 105 and a Ghost Lector Comp with mainly Ultegra. I have to say that I am yet to see the Ghost in the flesh yet so interested in hearing from anyone who has ridden or owns one. I am looking for a comfortable fast bike that I could use to race as well as for longer Sportive rides but do not need 'sportive geometry' as am comfortable on my old race geo bike at the moment. Any advice greatfully accepted.....

Dont have any experience of those but have a friend who has a bianchi sempre and they seem to like it.

btw if you are considering the R838 then also have look at the Ribble Stealth - it is exactly the same frame, better components and a cheaper price.
  • So why, if the Ribble frame is exactly the same as the DeRosa, is it so much cheaper? Is it purely because of the DeRosa name? Do they come from the same factory? I only ask as it seems almost too good to be true.
