A little help with brakes please

Hi there, i have been looking at some new shimano slx brakes on rose bikes web page which i think is a german site.I have looked at buying front and back as they seem a good price here . Only thing is they seem to be wrong way round , eg front brake leaver left hand side. Anyone help me out here or am i missing something?

Yes that is how they have them on the mainland.

Swap the hoses over and bleed.

I just bought a set of brakes from Action Sports in Germany - they came set up English style! A shame really as I normally left front brake

It's that German attention to detail........

Edit - I'm lying. My eyes were on back to front. They are set for left front which is great!

as nic said no problem just pop the hoses off and swap them, easy. if your lucky you wont even have to bleed them..
i didn't when i shortend the hoses on my formula mega, my juicy 5;s and our kids magura louise bats.

ok thanks for all the advice, i have just watched a few videos of shimane brake bleeds, looks easy enough . But how would i go about switching the cables around ? do you have to drain all the fluid out first? I have searched for help on this but can't find anything.

Not usually... often you can unbolt the hoses and swap straight over.

you wont have to remove the olive and all that unless you decide/need to shorten the hoses...
to swap the front to rear and rear to front you will just have to remove the hose from the master cylinder...
