So, after much help on here about the new bike to get, I saw a last minute bike I fell in love with, a Genesis Core 50.
But, I understand the Mountain Kings, are really King of very little, so I need to advise on what tyres I am best to get.
Any links to great deals will be rewared with cookies and left over mince pies.

if the contis are the blk chillie ones they should be ok.
not sure on the mountin kings never used them so cant comment.
but can recomend.
bonty mud x for really bad conditions great in muddy claggy gloopy stuff but bad on wet roots and wet rock. used to run these on my hardtail now replaced with.
maxxis minions had these on just over a year impressed by them. even in the winter slop
maxxis ardents got these on the f/s allmountain/trail bike again impressed by them had them on nearly 2 years perform well in all conditions..
maxxis highroller our kid uses these and has been impressed with the grip they give again mixed conditions that whistler throws at you. (dry dusty wet/roots rock/mud snow)
he also uses maxxis swampthings on his hardtail really good mud tyre when conditions get bad..www.bearbackbiking.com

I didn't mind the MK's... wore very quick though. Probably not the best tyre if its wet though.0

What's he going to do with it? Can't go too long with one of the classic combos, like a pair of highrollers or minions or nevegals or similiar with a sticky one on the front and a rolly one on the back. But what works well for one person on one sort of terrain might not for the next.Uncompromising extremist0
