Rear shock replacement

I currently have a 2010 specialised far xc expert and am wondering if anyone knows if I can replace the standard shock with a better one . It has a x fusion 02 on it and it's not great , so I'm just looking something a bit smoother . Thanks for any advice ... Mark

Yeah you can, you just need to make sure it has the same eye to eye length and stroke, give mojo or tftuned a call and they will be able to advise on the replacment size.

Fox RP2, Fox RP23, Rock Shok Monarch are just some examples.

fox rp23 is a decent shock,, i prefare coil shocks though, i swapped my rp23 on my butcher for a elka stage 5 coil shock.. i guess it depends on the kind of riding you do....
