Hello All

Looking for some local knowledge for my new commute from Wimbledon to Waterloo.
Is CS7 the answer or is there a better option?

Cheers

I live in South Wimbledon and I bike into London often.

Although it's very easy to take the CS7 all the way up (it starts at Colliers Wood), if I was to choose any route I would take something like this (assuming you are near the main station):

Chances are you'll only have to stop at lights twice before you reach the river - once at Earlsfield, and once crossing Trinity Road.

It also includes Battersea Park, which is just nice to cycle through, and a stretch of Embankment (although I guess it might be faster to stay South of the river, you'd then have Vauxhall to negotiate - which can also be fun, depending on your definition).

Basically, that's a fast, quiet and attractive route on good surfaces with a very mild uphill as you climb from Earlsfield to the Trinity Road junction.

If you PM me your actual start / stop point I can amend the route better for you
