Hi, I am thinking of buying a pair of Mavic Crossride or Crosstrail wheels for my bike and just wanted to know a couple of things about them.
The hubs have QRM bearings, do they need adjustment and greasing like the cup and cone type and are they easy to replace and service? Also is there any wear to the hub like bearing cups wear out sometimes?
Will the rear wheel be ok for an 8 speed cassette or would a spacer be needed?
I have looked at quite a few different wheels, these look great for the price and have good reviews but can't find much info on them. Thanks for any replies.

Trail and the rides are quite different. They both have cartridges. 8 spd will be fine but you'll need the mavic spacer like you would with a 9 spd. My crossrides have been great, it jusy comes down to spares really. I don't think I'd go for them again as the freehubs are expensive and spokes are very difficult to source.0
