A CX bike that rides something like a CAAD9?

My best bike is a CAAD9, I am very happy with it. I am thinking about buying or building a CX bike that has some of the feel on the road of the CAAD9, for winter road training and occasional CX racing. I appreciate that a CX bike will probably feel different but is there anything that comes close. CAAD CX? Specialised Crux? Boardman Team? Others?

Cheers.

I have a CAAD9 cx frame that rides very much like the CAAD10 I rode for a week - tyres excepted of course.

Thanks. Is your Caad9 CX a current bike on sale?

A CX bike will always 'ride high' due to the fatter tyres and bigger clearances - most obviously, the height of the bars may be a little higher. Also check frame geometries in terms of BB drop i.e. the difference in vertical height between the wheel centres and BB centre - Euro style is to run high whereas US makers typically feature a lower BB
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

nope - it is about 3/4 years old now. I'm not sure what, if anything has changed on the newer DAAD cx frames though apart from spec of the build kit?
