Specialized allez frame

I already have a boardman comp tiagra/105 but need a commuting bike.
I thinking of buying a specialized allez 16 basic model 2011. And using the frame and wheels (mavic ones not the alex rims) from it and the groupset from boardman etc to make a bike for triathlons etc.
and then rebuilding the boardman with the 2300 groupset and using that for commuting. Does that make much sense and will I see much benefit from it? Or am i being silly :P
I guess it comes down to which frame is better etc. Any advice welcomed!

I don't think the Allez frame is any better than the Boradman frame.More problems but still living....0
