Any one got or know the link to Schwalbe for trying to claim as a good will gesture for replacement of original R1's

I bought a pair at discount price this summer to go on my sprint tri rims, done less than 750 miles and they look like Spaghetti and have puncutured more times than a porcupines sex doll.

I think the fact that they were sold discounted and are R1's suggest they might have been a NOS original batch and I d like to send some pictures and codes to Schwalbe to see if as an act of good will they may give me some discount against some ZX's.

Any one know the best route to go (Besides buying some Conti's)

The original fault was the casing seperating (rubber coming away from the cloth). Sounds like you have just killed them by running a race tyre on too rough roads (I've done the same with Pro3's when I've run them too far into winter, they really didn't like the South East in winter).

I find Conti GP4000S work for me through winter. Come April I'll start riding Pro4's everywhere.

See posts passim - Ultremos are utterly rubbish. Branded "race" tyre or not, they are rubbish. Mine lasted around 100 summer miles before falling apart.

Take them off, throw them in next door's garden, buy some Pro 3s - never had any issues with them and have run them all year round.
